The DENVER BRONCO 1975
This “frame on total restoration “was a job my “SUPER DAD” took on. He spent over 300 hours on it. We found the Denver through a friend, Brody M. in Las Vegas. My friend, Gordon Hostman did the paint job. It has the auto trans and power steering, limited slips front and rear with 3:50 gears, and the Blue 'Ranger' package... Overall it was in pretty good condition with rust in the front floor pans and starting in the drivers door post area... Minor rust in the tailgate and inner rear quarter panels. It now has the 2 barrel carb/intake and stock exhaust manifolds back on her...new exhaust system and mountain man mufflers...The original Bronco was not in very good shape...pretty bad shape actually. I received this e-mail one evening from Brody Mueller, who I had done some Bronco parts trading with several months back... he said that he had found a ‘Denver’ Bronco setting in this guy’s back yard. It had some frontend damage and he was looking to get rid of it. Brody told me that he wanted to buy it himself but between the damage and the rust, it needed lots of sheet metal work, and he didn’t have a place to store it or work on it right now, with being a college student and trying to get his studies completed. So he passed on the Broncoand asked if I would like to buy it. I jumped at the chance to add it to our collection. After several phone calls and e-mails Brody finally made the deal for us. My Father Mark is retired and he offered to make the trip to Vegas with his wife Ruby to bring the Bronco back to our stable... “Excerpt from Bronco Driver Magazine” |
